DUTCH JUNIOR BALLET COMPETITION

After receiving your registration.

  • You will receive your personal and unique number for the day and time in which you are assigned. Saturday and/or Sunday.

  • You will send your music by mail at least 4 weeks prior to the competition.

           Provided with: name participant /name dance in good MP3 or WAV format, no links to, for example, youtube or Spotify

 

On the day itself you will:

  • Check in at the reception between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
  • Sign your registration (if you are under 18, then your parents or guardian) to pay for that day
  • Candidates and coaches € 27,50 per person (even if you dance several pieces)
  • Tickets for family and friends available at the box office: € 22,50 per day, per person.

and here you get:

  • your participant badge with name.

  • your surprise and goody bag.

  • Lunch, coffee, tea and water for Candidates and coaches will be provided by the DJBC organisation.  

After you will change into your dance clothes, check out the stage where you will dance later, and participate in the company Class (ballet class) on stage.

 

We work in blocks of 15 participants, after this the jury will briefly discuss and the next participants of the next round can go on stage

After that, all participants will come on stage and the jury will announce the winners of that day. There is a 1st and 2nd prize in each category. We will also announce the public awards and the prize winners will of course perform during the gala on the Sunday.

 

 

The Jury consists of renowned professionals from the dance world (at home and abroad).

Dutch Junior Ballet Competition, hereinafter referred to as DJBC

  • Participation in DJBC is only possible after registration and payment, a refund is not possible.
  • Participation in DJBC is entirely at your own risk and DJBC is not liable for any damage, injuries, sustained before, during and after the competition.
  • DJBC is not liable for loss and/or theft of personal items.
  • DJBC cannot be held liable for the use of image material by third parties
  • DJBC adheres to the AVG legislation, but has the right to use images and sound recordings. for publicity, advertisement and promotion of the Dutch Junior Ballet Competition. If you do not agree with this, you can let us know in writing and we will respect your request.
